A heat advisory remains in Louisville until 8 p.m. on June 26, with temperatures expected to reach the high 90s and a heat index value as high as 105, according to the National Weather Service.

There is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. and a 10% chance before 7 p.m. Calm winds will become west of around 6 mph in the afternoon and southwest of around 6 mph in the evening. It will be mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 96 and a heat index value as high as 105. Skies will later become partly cloudy with a low around 76.
June 27
People can expect a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. and before 8 p.m., and again after 2 a.m. It will be mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 95 and a heat index value of up to 101. Conditions will later become partly cloudy with a low around 75. Calm winds will also become southwest of between 3-8 mph throughout the day.
June 28
Chances of precipitation are 70% with showers and thunderstorms likely before 8 a.m. to after 2 p.m. West winds of around 6 mph are expected, with new rainfall amounts of between a tenth and a quarter of an inch possible. Partly sunny skies will turn mostly cloudy, with a high near 89 and low around 73.
There is also a 60% chance of precipitation, mainly before 8 p.m. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch expected.
June 29
There is a 60% chance of precipitation with showers and thunderstorms possible after 2 p.m. as well as before 8 p.m. and after 2 a.m. Partly sunny skies will turn mostly cloudy with a high near 91 and low around 74.

People can expect a 60% to 70% chance of precipitation with showers and thunderstorms possible throughout the day and after 2 p.m. and again both before and after 8 p.m. Partly sunny skies will become mostly cloudy with a high near 92 and low around 74.
