United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Strmer said on Sunday that the United States are “taking action now to relieve the Iranian threat to obtain a nuclear weapon after US attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities yesterday.
In a video published in the X, Stmerer stressed the importance of flipping through the situation, stabilizing the region and making the parties “return to the negotiating table”. According to him, the Iranian nuclear program represents a serious threat to global security.
“I talked today with international leaders about the situation. But I reinforce that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon and this is very important for the stability of the region,” he said.

In a telephone conversation earlier with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, expressed regret for American action, denied any involvement or cooperation of the United Kingdom in the attacks and asked for the continuity of diplomacy.
