United States President Donald Trump contradicted his deputy, Jd Vance, and other members of his administration and said on Sunday that he could support a regime change in Iran.
“It is not politically correct to use the term ‘regime change’, but if the current Iranian regime is not able to make Iran big again, why would there be no change of regime? Miga!” Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
The acronym Miga (“Make Iran Big again” is a reference to Trump’s electoral staff, Maga (“Make America Big again”).
Earlier, commenting on the American bombing to Iran’s nuclear facilities at dawn (local time) this Sunday, Vance and Trump Management Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the operation only aimed to prevent the Iranians from having a nuclear weapon and that the United States does not seek a change of government in the Asian country.
