Minister Dias Toffoli of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) determined the sharing of a series of inquiries linked to the so-called “Operation Without Discount” with the Court, in investigations into fraud in the INSS, the names of federal deputy Fausto Pinato (PP-SP) and former minister Onyx Lorenzoni. The inquiry, which is confidential, investigates fraud of the benefits of the INSS.
In the confidential decision, rendered on June 10, Toffoli pointed out that the Federal Police pointed out that “the criminal hypothesis that is concerned with the genesis of the structure that was conjectured to affect a massive and spurious discount made to retirees and pensioners of the general social security regime.”
According to the decision, there are elements indicating that “people with forum prerogative before this Supreme Federal Court, such as Onyx Lorenzoni and Federal Deputy Fausto Pinato (…), are mentioned in investigative notebooks that make up the operation of the operation without discount”
Although PF mentions Moro, Toffoli says in the decision “not glimpsing” that the facts in which the senator could be involved are related to the operation without discount.
A protected witness, however, pointed out that one of those involved in investigated social security fraud “would be acting or acted in conjunction with Anderson de Vasconcelos.
