ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis donut shop was crowned winner of the “Best Donuts in America” contest Monday morning.
Designed like a March Madness bracket, 64 donut shops competed in The64.com’s contest which began on June 5 and ran three weeks.
Old Town Donuts in Florissant and Cottleville won the title after defeating Jason’s Donutslocated in Alaska.

Old Town Donuts also went up against Five Daughters Bakery in Nashville, Tennessee, and Jack Frost Donuts in Cleveland, Ohio.
