Title: Disgusting
Review: I never leave reviews. But as a Chai lover and someone who looks for a good protein powder, I felt like I need to say this is horrible. It tastes disgusting no matter what you mix it with and has a terrible after taste of fake sugar. I gave it several chances and wish I could return it. Save yourself the money and do not buy this.

Title: Lacks Chai Flavor
Review: I bought this to make chai flavored smoothies. Compared to other chai protein powders, this one lacks flavor. There isn’t much flavor added at all. It does blend well and the macros are good, just wish it had more robust chai flavor.

Title: Tastes like… chi. Almost pure protein. It’s a winner.
Review: When I got this, all the reviews were saying how bad The Chai flavor tastes. I don’t know about that at all. It tastes just like Chai to me. Chai, with a little milk. It’s literally exactly what I expected it to taste like.The powder itself is almost perfect. It’s a little clumpy, but with no flyaways. It’s like very fine-grained wet sand. I mixed it in the shaker and didn’t require a mixing bowl. It dissolves very nicely. I would say that it doesn’t mix very thickly, so less water than recommended works fine. Overall, the whole mixing experience is top notch without any mess.Finally, you can’t get by the fact that this is almost 100% protein by calories. There’s no fat, and only 1g of carbs for every 20 grams of protein. That’s absolutely fantastic. You really can’t get better than that except with clear protein and that’s got its own kind of problems.Overall, I found the drink to be creamy and rich with a good flavor, but like I said maybe underwater this mix. It’s fantastic.

Title: Very good flavor, a small amount of clumping
Review: This protein powder tastes pretty good. It’s got a nice subtle chai flavor, not overpowering but maybe just a touch weaker than I would like. Still, it does taste great and is not overly sweet or artificial tasting. My only complaint is that it doesn’t shake up as well as some other powders I have had.With around 6oz of water and 1 scoop there are small little clumps stuck to the side of the shaker here and there. It foams up a bit too but that subsides pretty quickly. If you plan to mix or blend it, you probably won’t have any issues though. Aside from that, I like it.

Title: Better Than Expected. Great Protein Powder Choice
Review: What caught my eye with this protein powder is the chai flavor. There are lots of different flavored protein powders on the market with the vast majority of them being your typical chocolate, vanilla or strawberry. But chai? This is quite rare. If you’re a fan of chai tea lattes or chai flavored drinks, this is a great option for you to try.I’ve never tried Wellah’s brand of whey protein isolate before but I can now say I’m a fan.In terms of taste, it tastes pretty good. It’s not overly sweet but also not lacking in sweetness either. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of chai but I can absolutely see myself finishing the entire tub.It mixes well unlike some protein powders that clump up and need a blender. This one mixed well with just a spoon for the most part.The Chai flavor not only tastes great on its own but also blends well with other ingredients. I love adding it to my oatmeal, yogurt, or even baking recipes for an extra protein boost. However, I’ve mostly eaten it with just plain greek yogurt to give myself a high protein chai-flavored greek yogurt snack.Overall, this is a solid whey protein powder. If you’re looking for a high-quality, delicious, and reliable whey protein isolate, Wellah’s brand of whey protein isolate is definitely worth trying.

Price: $31.49 at time of review.The barley rice protein is a mixture of protein from barley and rice. There is no sugar in this product or artificial sweetener but sweetened with Stevia. It comes sealed in a thick plastic bottle. Provides 20g of protein/serving with 30 servings in total. The product has ingredients from multiple sources globally. This protein powder is chai flavored.Added this to 8oz of water, 12oz of water, 16oz of water and most of the powder dissolved but not completely. I used a glass as well as a shaker bottle. There was still some clumping after multiple attempts to get it to dissolve. The water wasn’t completely saturated/darkened or fully opaque after mixing.At first sip, the taste was good almost like a chai tea. The bottle says it’s chai flavored, but to me the flavor is that of having chai mixed with old cinnamon and straw or hay in your mouth, though not really bothersome unless you have sensitive taste buds or something so expect that. Not much of an aftertaste noted.Recommendations: **Use in a blender or something similar for optimal dissolvement of powder. Drink immediately after mixing.
