Title: First one emptied!
Review: This chocolate protein powder container is the first one I’ve ever ordered that was fully consumed. Usually there’s at least 1/4 left that eventually expires and is tossed. I didn’t mind the flavor at all, albeit my diet was extremely limited at the time due to not being able to properly digest solids. These shakes gave me the energy and nutrients to keep going. I’m sure that helped with my opinion, but I would order this one again even though my diet is back to normal.

Title: Good nutritional mix; artificial taste
Review: Even with whey isolates, it’s very rare to find a full 25g of protein powder coming with only 110 total calories, so kudos on keeping the product focused on what it’s supposed to be–a protein supplement. For me personally though, I found the smell and taste to be off…neither gave me the impression of a chocolate milkshake. The powder mixes well enough with about 10-12 ounces of water and comes out smooth, but my first reaction when I took a whiff was that it smelled almost like Cheetos or Doritos, and I have no idea why. Then the taste had some of that same vibe to it. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t having an off morning myself, so I asked my teenage daughter to smell it, and she also said that she thought it smelled like Cheetos. The best I can tell, what we were picking up on and reacting too was the artificial sweeteners being a little too artificial and standing out in a not great way. While this is sweetened with sucralose, it reminds me more of an aspartame aftertaste. So, if you’re the kind of person who prefers Diet Coke over Coke Zero, you might like this quite a bit more than I did.I really appreciate the nutritional content being on point, but for me, the taste and smell just isn’t quite right.

Title: Decent
Review: Decent whey overall. Taste is ok, but not the best I’ve had. It does run on the higher end of the price spectrum for what you are getting, thus I only gave 4 stars.

Title: Easy mix and easy on my stomach
Review: This LGXNDS protein powder mixes easily in water with just a spoon. That might sound kind of unappetizing, but I like quick convenience for my protein shakes, and this is as simple as things get. Good mixability is key for that, and this powder fits the bill. The flavor is pretty mild compared to some overly sweet protein powders. That’s another good feature to me.Finally, this was easy on my stomach. Some protein powders leave it a bit upset. Not so much that I won’t use them, but enough that I’m aware that my stomach is a little off for an hour or so. I have yet to identify whatever process or ingredients lead to that for me, but I appreciate the relatively few brands that don’t cause this. LGXNDS is on a pretty short list for that.

Title: Average protein powder
Review: I’ve been trying different protein powders and one key item I look for is the inclusion of xanthan gum or other additives that can make it like a milkshake. This protein powder claims to include that but it must be a low amount. I thoroughly blended the powder, more concentrated than recommended and it still came out as very watery. It isn’t particularly deep chocolate flavor either. The macros are fine so that’s why I say it can pass as a protein powder but I feel anyone who tries it will tire of it quickly.

Title: Vanilla “ice cream” is a stretch…
Review: I’d really like to deduct .5 stars for the flavor. Tastes like your run-of-the-mill vanilla whey protein, not “ice cream” unless your ice cream tastes like whey protein. That said, the (stated) macros on this are great. 100 calories for 25 g of protein per serving – 30 servings, so 750 g protein in the whole container, which is quite a bit more than many other 2 lbs tubs. Plus this has some added digestive enzymes. Not bad!

Review: This is a good tasting protein powder, not chalky or overly sweet. Mixes well. Would recommend.
