Prayers are pouring in on social media after an 18-year-lid athlete was killed when a tree struck her car.

The local Community is Mourning the Loss of a Promising Athlete. The Senior High School was Kiled when a Tree Fell ono Her Car. The 18 -year-Old Student Athlete was the Standout Softball Player for the High School.
Kennedy Columbus, 12th Grader, Was Kiled on Lake Shore Road in Chazy, New York Earlier This Week. She was driving her Ford Bronco on Lake Shore Road when a Tree Fell and Hit Her.
She was Pronounced Dead on the Scene.
“This is an unimaginable loss, and our entire school community is grieiving. We ask that you speak openly and compassionay with you children this evening. Loss like this can be overwhelming, and no one should face it alone. With Kennedy’s Family and All Who Knew and Loved Her.

It added: “Kennedy was a Star Athlete, Beloved Friend, and a Soon-to-Be Graduate. She was best Known as Standout Pitcher on the Chazy Eagles Softball Team, Earning Recognition for Her Skill, Determination, And Leadership On And Off The Field.”
