Review: I received the Vanilla Cupcake protein powder mix by PE Science in the 1.84 lb size.I really like the taste and ease of use of the Vanilla Cupcake protein mix by PE Science. I put one scoop in my shaker bottle with water and almond milk for a delicious protein drink. One scoop drink mix gives me 25 g of protein and there are 27 servings per container.It seems like the containers are getting smaller all the time. I don’t like the use of Sucralose as a sweetener substitute. I prefer other sweeteners that I consider healthier alternatives.Other than the size of the container per cost and the sweetener used this is a good product.

Review: It’s pretty good. Cupcake protein shakes always taste just like the frosting only to me, so essentially over sweetened vanilla. This is much the same as those. But, I do like that this is an Isolate powder.

Review: Stick with an Isolate protein powder for the best protein to calorie ratio. This one has the nutrition info that you want to see.I’ve used this for drinks with milk and also mixed it in with pancake mix and banana bread mix. The taste is great and I like to use the vanilla for blueberry pancakes and the chocolate for banana bread.

Review: I’ve been on the hunt for a good vanilla protein for ages, and let me tell you, the PEScience Vanilla Cupcake flavor is fantastic. Right when you open it, it smells like actual vanilla, not some weird chemical concoction. I mix this in my morning smoothie which consists of berries, yogurt, almond milk, and this powder…every time it dissolved almost instantly; no clumps and none of that gritty, chalky texture you get with cheaper powders. It’s smooth and the taste is rich without being sickly sweet (admittedly I do prefer the sweeter powders). Plus, as someone whose stomach doesn’t always agree with whey, this isolate being lactose and casein-free has been a game-changer. No bloating at all.So, what’s the catch? The price. My wallet definitely felt this one. At around $80 for a tub that gives you 27 servings, you’re looking at nearly $3 per scoop. When you compare that to other brands out there where you can get quality isolate for much less, it’s a tough pill (smoothie) to swallow.Honestly, I’m torn. I genuinely look forward to drinking this after a workout, which is something I can’t say for many proteins I’ve tried. The quality and taste are absolutely top-tier. But the cost is a huge barrier for me to make this my go-to protein. If you’ve got the cash to spare, go for it – you won’t be disappointed. But if you’re on a budget, you might want to save this for a special treat rather than your daily driver.

Review: I didn’t like the flavour, but I also don’t like very sweet drinks. If you enjoy a restaurant milkshake or slurpy, this would probably be quite good to you. It said 6-8oz per scoop, I did a bit more than 16oz for two scoops and still found it quite sweet so personally I’d even double the amount of liquid. I did use milk though, so it could be less creamy with water. It had a really strong smell of cupcakes so I thought it would taste more artificial, but personal preferences aside it wasn’t bad at all. It blended very quickly with a Nutribullet but I let it spin for around 20 seconds just in case. There were a few bubbles here and there and while it was filling, it wasn’t bloating. No stomach issues despite having some curry on the side (TMI?), and the drink tasted smooth without any powdery feel.

Review: I’ve really been enjoying the flavour of this protein shake. The vanilla flavour comes through really nicely and makes me want to drink more of it than I should. It’s sweet, smooth, and doesn’t have any weird, chalky aftertaste some protein shakes seem to have. One thing I am a big fan of is that it’s gentle on digestion. After two weeks of using this protein powder, I haven’t had any issues with bloating, and it’s also nice to know it’s lactose and casein-free. All in all, it tastes great, mixes easily with minimal clumping, and doesn’t cause me to bloat, which is something I always want to avoid. It’s been a great protein shake so far.
