(Reuters) – Operators were priced a lower chance of a court rate by Federal Reserve in July after Chair Jerome Powell used his prepared comments to the United States Congress to repeat that the Central Bank is well positioned to wait for more clear before adjusting interest.
The bets now reflect a chance of only 16% of an interest cut in July, below the previous 23%.
Operators continue to project a rate reduction in September, with a second cut expected for October or, most likely, for December.
