The CEO of NvidiaJensen Huang, said that robotics represents, alongside artificial intelligence, the biggest growth opportunity for the company – especially autonomous cars as the first major commercial application of technology.
“Ia and robotics are the two greatest multi-diverse opportunities we have,” Huang said during the annual shareholder assembly on Wednesday.
Just over a year ago, Nvidia reorganized its divisions, grouping the automotive and robotics areas. Together, these units generated US $ 567 million in the last quarter, a growth of 72% over the previous year, although they still represent only 1% of the company’s total revenue.
High actions and revenues
- The company has surfed the increase in demand for graphic chips (GPUs), used to train and operate AI models such as chatgPT, which raised its $ 27 billion revenue by 2023 to $ 130.5 billion in 2024.
- Sales are expected to approach US $ 200 billion this year.
- Nvidia’s shares have reached a historical record, boosting its market value to $ 3.75 trillion – surpassing Microsoft as the most valuable company in the world.

Robotics will gain popularity, says CEO
Although robotics is still a smaller segment, Huang highlighted the use of Nvidia Drive platform chips by automakers such as Mercedes-Benz and announced AI models aimed at humanoid robots, baptized with cosmos.
“In the future, we will have billions of robots, millions of self -employed vehicles and smart factories powered by Nvidia technology,” he said.
According to Huang, the company no longer finds itself as a chip manufacturer, but as a complete infrastructure provider for the new AI -based computing era.
