Title: Caffeine + Creatine = Energy & Sustainability
Review: A friend gifted me a perfect product a few weeks ago: a mix of creatine and energy. I can’t beat this combination! I go to the gym every morning, and I used to drink coffee and creatine separately. Now, I have a drink that does both!

Title: Great pre-workout + creatine with potent watermelon flavor
Review: I would categorize this powder as a pre-workout and believe it should be consumed as such, approximately half an hour to an hour before you work out – it has about an equivalent amount of caffeine to an 8oz cup of coffee that can provide the energy boost you need, as well as a standard maintenance dose of creatine. This makes it appropriate to take earlier during the day and you may need to consume less coffee/tea/energy drinks on days you’re taking it to adjust for the extra caffeine. In general, many people choose to do a loading phase with creatine – this means they take higher doses multiple times a day for a short period of time to saturate their muscles with it. You can’t use this powder to do that because of the other ingredients it has, really the caffeine. If you want to do that, you’ll need to buy just creatine separately. I plan to have a different creatine source on days I’m not working out.All that said, awesome pre-workout. I mixed a scoop into a big glass of water as instructed and it took less time and stirring to dissolve than creatine powder I’ve had before. The watermelon smells amazing and the taste was really potent, I think I’d rather have it in a shake or smoothie rather than just with water! It’s quite sweet, tastes a lot like diet soda. Texture was less gritty than usual. It made me feel energized and I had a great workout after.I’m very happy this powder is vegan and it has a stamp on the container to state so. It comes with a scoop and it’s a sturdy, convenient container to keep it in.$16 is pricey if you intend to take this every single day, it’s only enough doses for 30 days. If you choose to take it only on days you work out, however, it’s much more manageable – let’s say you work out 3 days of the week, then you’d have enough for 10 weeks. Not too shabby.

Title: All in one energy and creatine, but a unique taste.
Review: GoodThis creatine mix dissolves very easily when used with a shaker bottle and a higher end of the recommended water. It provides a nice boost of energy before your workout, about equal to having a cup of coffee. While the taste isn’t great its much better than drinking plain creatine. There is very little grittyness once shaken, although this may be an issue if you were to consume it stirred. I exercise fasted and don’t experience any issues with my stomach, although I consume it immeadiately before exercising.BadThe taste while not bad is a little funky, however I’m not going to deduct points because I was not expecting it to taste like an actual watermelon, nor would I really want it to. It tastes kind of like those watermelon candies you get at a dry cleaner, not bad but funky. If you drink this too long before you start working out you may notice some stomach issues, but I tend to drink this during the warm up of workout.OverallI have recently become more and more of a fan of this brand, Nutricost. They are a great value for a quality product. This creatine powder has reinforced my high opinion of their products. They are a reputable brand I feel confident putting in my body and supporting my training. It is tasty, effective and dissolves easily. It is energizing, but not jittery, and causes little to no stomach upset on a fasted stomach.

Title: creatine is great, but the watermelon flavor is a bit much
Review: Creatine has been really helpful for me, and this brand has been the main one I use. I saw this formulation with watermelon flavor, sweetener, and some other additives as well, so I wanted to give it a shot.It all seems to be high quality as usual, and I love that they include a scoop so there is no guesswork on dosing it out. However, the watermelon flavor is just a little too strong and too sweet. I tried mixing this into a smoothing with some fruit and a bunch of other stuff, hoping that the watermelon would add a little extra interest and sweetness, but it kind of punches through and overpowers the rest.I think if you like punch flavors, you might enjoy this. However, it is a little too much for something that you are taking every day. I think I’ll go back to the unflavored stuff and put in it a protein shake where the flavor comes from other ingredients.

Title: Awesome summer treat in the Creami
Review: Now that the weather is finally starting to get nice, having a little frozen something after an outdoor workout to cool off is starting to sound nice. I’ve had great success mixing this creatine power with one scoop of protein powder + fairlife in my Creami – it’s a great indulgent treat that doesn’t come with too much guilt! In terms of energy and recovery, I feel like this is on par with other products I’ve tried – no strange smell, no odd taste, and beneficial over time. I think this a good value and gives you a nice boost in energy. Note, this is caffeinated, if you are sensitive to that, be aware.I think this is worth trying!
