According to the portal Techcrunchthe National Administration of United States Highway Traffic (NHTSA) has confirmed that it has contacted Tesla to check what is happening. The company was advised to send additional information about the robotaxi service.

How Tesla’s robotaxi service works
- For now, the Tesla Robotáxis fleet is made up of about 20 units of Tesla Model Yversion 2025which operate exclusively in a delimited region of the city of Austin, Texas.
