A man died after a shooting incident in Olsen Park overnight, Amarillo police announced Wednesday.

The person was identified as Braydon Mitchell Ellertson, 22, and his family has been notified, according to police.
The Amarillo Police Department said in the community update that officers “learned from the caller that he was at the park and was approached by the deceased and a physical fight ensued. This resulted in the caller firing one shot from his weapon and the other male was shot. Homicide was called to the scene to investigate.”
