Israel’s army confirmed on Saturday (21) a new air strike to the nuclear plant of Isfahan, central Iran. This is the second time the Israeli forces attack one of the main nuclear facilities of the Ayatollah regime Ali Khamenei since the beginning of the conflict two weeks ago.
The main focus points of the night attack were “two centrifugal production sites” that demonstrate “a hard blow to Iran’s production capabilities.”
According to the UN surveillance agency, the International Atomic Energy Agency (AIEA), Isfahan has one of Iran’s largest nuclear facilities. There, the AIEA believes that the country has an uranium enrichment plant, which Iran said was willing to put in operation in retaliation against diplomatic pressure against the country.
In addition to the Nuclear Complex destroyed by Israel on Saturday morning, Isfahan also has an important Iranian air base, made up of F-14 Tomcats military aircraft, purchased from the United States before the Islamic Revolution in the 1970s.
Israeli offensive
Israel’s forces also announced that they killed two Iranian commanders in Saturday’s offensive, including a veteran military, Saeed Izadi, who led the Palestine Support campaign of the overseas arm of Iranian revolutionary guards; and Behnam Shahriyari who, according to Israeli intelligence, “was responsible for all the transfers of weapons of the Iranian regime to its allies throughout the Middle East, in order to directly promote the plan of the Iranian regime to destroy Israel.”
