The vote for the lock of the Strait of Ormuz occurred on Sunday after the operation Midnight Hammerin which seven B-2 stealing bombers entered the Iranian airspace and dropped 14 antibunker bombs in three nuclear facilities in Iran.
Since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Iran and even before the US ticket in the Middle East war, the Strait of Ormez was one of the main focuses of tension in the region, as it is controlled by Iran in conjunction with the small principality of Oman. The fear of the West was that if it was attacked by the Americans, Iran would close the route and compromise the world markets.
Hours after the attack, Iran’s Foreign Minister Araqchi said the United States “betrayed diplomacy” and “crossed all red lines” after attacks on Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
Araqchi said he will travel to Moscow in the coming days to seek a solution with Vladimir Putin, called by him “an old ally of Iran.” “Attacking a nuclear installation is an unforgivable violation of international law and must be convicted. My country has been beaten, and we must respond in our legitimate right to self -defense, and we will do it for the time it is necessary,” the minister said in an interview in Istanbul, where he participates in the 51st summit of the organization for Islamic cooperation.
“We have completed our successful attack on the three nuclear facilities in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz and Esfahan. All aircraft are now outside Iranian airspace. A full bombs were launched at the main installation, Fordow. All planes are safe on their way home,” Trump wrote on social networks after the American offensive.
