Green Fire Ball crosses the US sky


A ball of fire green and vivid exploded on New York (USA) Earlier this week and created a true pyrotechnic show.

Fire Ball Way

  • The Green Tones Fire Ball radiated into fire and fragmented weakly and left a persistent trail;
  • The phenomenon was seen on North America at 3:30 am (Brasília time) of June 5 and walked north in the morning;
  • It was only two seconds, but the fireball appeared to observers not only in New York, but also in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, some of whom were able to record their passage through the sky

How can this phenomenon be seen?

These fireballs are visualizable when old pieces of solar system debris and vary from size, going from millimeters to meters, they hit the atmosphere on the earth. This phenomenon then burns and overshadows the planets around which are brighter.

Fire balls can be associated with a rain of specific meteors, or happen “sporadically” when random pieces of debris collide with our atmosphere.
