After being launched exclusively in the United States, the AI of the Google – A new form of search based on artificial intelligence – began to be made available in India, marking the beginning of its global expansion.
According to Google announcedthe tool represents an important step to make access to information simpler and more effective.

What the AI mode offers
- With AI advances, users are looking for increasingly complex answers, and Mode AI meets this demand by offering detailed and contextual answers directly on the results page.
- Initially available in English and activated through Search Labs, the feature allows you to ask more elaborate and interactive questions, as well as refine results based on previous answers.
- An example cited is parents who ask for creative suggestions to entertain young children at home – and receive practical and personalized ideas.

Although still limited to English, Google says it plans to expand support to other local languages in the future. In India, the feature already supports voice and images commands, reflecting the importance of mobile use and the diversity of forms of access in the country.
Tested since early 2024 in the US, AI mode has been released to all users after Google I/O and will be gradually implemented in other countries. The company states that this new search model represents the future of the platform.
