The Central Bank announced on Tuesday, June 24, the official calendar of the Monetary Policy Committee (COPOM) meetings for 2026. According to the BC statement, the schedule includes eight meetings throughout the year.
According to Central Bank data, the meetings will take place on January 27 and 28, March 17 and 18, April 28 and 29, June 16 and 17, August 4 and 5, September 15 and 16, November 3 and 4, in addition to December 8 and 9.
The BC also reported that the minutes of Copom meetings will always be published at 8am (GMT) of the Tuesday following the holding of each meeting, as is already the current practice.
Based on the information published by the Central Bank, the schedule follows the standard of previous years, maintaining the periodicity of meetings, which facilitates the monitoring of decisions by the market.
Also according to the statement, the meetings maintain the first session graduate reserved for the technical presentations of the conjuncture and the second for decisions of the monetary policy guidelines. The second is marked by the dissemination of decisions, immediately after the end and from 18:30.
