Review: Very nice phone holder. Stiff, doesn’t bounce around a lot like the others I tried. I like the release buttons. You only have to press one and both sides release at the same time. My car has a stiff suspension for performance. And this phone holder holds my phone in place with no issues. I recommend it.

Title: Good phone holder for your car
Review: This works great for use in my jeep. It’s handy being able to use it in 2 different ways. The vent clip one works great. Stays tight, holds weight and holds the phone tight. The window or dash one is great but it struggles to stick after a while. However it is sturdy when it does and it’s easy to use. Would recommend, might just need an additional sticky thing.

Review: I cannot tell in advance what kind of phone mount will work best on a rental car. I wanted a kit that included several options. The Romuto set looked like a good choice.The Romuto Car Phone Holder set came in a cardboard box that can serve as a storage box. The set includes a vent mount, a sticky suction cup mount, two peel-and-stick mounts, a compatible phone holder to fit any of the mounts, a packet of wet wipes to clean mounting surfaces and a comprehensive set of instructions. All mount pieces are primarily made of plastic and appear to be well-built.The vent mount has a metal arm that can fit vent louvers up to 1 1/16” wide. Since it is a ball mount, it can accommodate vents that are vertical, horizontal, or any angle in between.The suction cup mount has a sticky silicone suction pad that can be applied to any smooth interior surface. In a rental car, I’d try the windshield first, a smooth interior surface next and the top of the dashboard last because I’s worry about leaving a mark. The mount itself has an adjustable arm that can extended and locked into position. My only complaint is that the piece of paper that covers the sticky pad during storage comes off too easily and can get lost. I plan on finding a jar lid that I can modify to work.The two peel-and-stick mounts would not be a good choice for a rental car because they are intended to be permanent and removal could damage the surface. I wouldn’t use them in my own car for the same reason because I like to keep my car looking like new.All of the above mounts have a 5/8” diameter ball that fits the phone holder. The phone holder has tabs on either side that can be pushed to open the holding jaws. Once you place the phone in the holder, you squeeze the jaws closed to hold the phone. There is an opening at the bottom of the mount to accommodate a charging cable. My Moto G Stylus 5G, with a thick case, fit the mount just fine and seemed secure. I could insert and remove my phone with one hand.As a bonus for me, the 5/8” ball used by these mounts will also fit my LISEN magnetic phone vent mount should I choose to use it in a rental car. The LISEN vent mount is not as accommodating of different vent orientations.A final word regarding any vent mount. Be careful to not break vent louvers. If one breaks, the whole vent often needs to be replaced and can cost hundreds of dollars new, plus labor. Break one on a rental car and you’re out a lot of money including their lost rental revenue while the car is being repaired. The same goes for other mount types that may damage interior surfaces.I am satisfied with the Romuto Car Phone Holder set and will use it on my car rentals from now on.

Title: OK for the price.
Review: This is a fairly well made unit and both the suction and the clamp for the phone hold very well. It is a bit clunky and unattractive and has way too many adjustments and moving parts. All the adjustment knobs that hold parts in position are made of weak plastic and don’t stay in place particularly well. My plans are just to use it until it breaks (and it will) and then replace with something a little simpler and more eye appealling.

Review: This item comes with the holder, an arm that is attached to a suction cup, plus two adhesive mount for sticking directly to the windshield/dashboard (without the arm) and an attachment that can be used on an air vent.I did not try the air vent option, and used the suction cup.The kit also came with three individually packaged alcohol wipes and some dry cloth wipes to dry up after using the alcohol wipes. This is what I used.I cleaned a part of my dashboard, and luckily the surface was smooth and not textured, and applied the suction cup mount to it. The suction cup is made of super sticky silicon, but it is not adhesive. Almost like a hard jelly. You push down the sides of the suction cup, then flip a toggle switch that pulls up and locks the suction cup.The suction cup attachement (as shown in the items product photos) has an arm that moves up and down and the whole arm swivels side to side on the suction cup base. The arm also has a wingnut that you loosen to extend the arm out further. Using these adjustments allowed me to position the holder right where I wanted it. I prefer this to the vent mounts, which obviously block the vent.The holder has spring loaded arms on the side that release when you squeeze the buttons on the sides, then you put your phone on the holder and squeeze the arms in and they sort of ratchet closed to grasp the phone.My wife has a very thick phone case, that is basically a wallet, it’s like an inch thick, but it fits nicely in this holder!The quality is good. It does not look cheap and the suction cup material is nice. The instruction booklet is clear and easily understandable and has diagrams if you need them.I must say that I might buy another one for our other car which currently has one of those holders that fit on the vent.There is a gap in the bottom shelf so you can attach a charging cable to your phone while it’s in the holder.It is NOT magnetic and does not charge the phone or anything, but it does hold the phone.The jaws are quite wide. And accommodates at least any iPhone.And lastly, the price is very reasonable!I will recommend this to anyone who wants a phone holder with multiple attachment options.If it breaks or the suction cup fails, I will update this review and note how long it lasted before it broke. I expect this will be used pretty much every day, so it’s overall durability will be tested.
