Initially, what is known is that Cadence was close to an explosion of the Claimont Mansion, which belonged to his grandfather.
Throughout history, it is clear that Cadence, Johnny, Mirren and Gat, who were the group called “liars”, are not happy with the current situation of the family and believe that Claimont is the great symbol of evil that has taken over the Sinclair. So they decide to set fire and destroy the great mansion.
At the end of the series, we found that Cadence and his friends put into practice the plan to destroy Claimont. But what no one expected is that the fire would spread so fast. The result of this was the death of Johnny, Mirren and Gat. Cadence escaped because he was thrown into the sea after the explosion. The characters even tried to meet, but could not and only Cadence survived.
In summer 17, the three characters who were killed in the fire participated in the plot, how was this possible if they had died? In fact, they were present in the form of ghosts. This is then one of the inheritance of Sinclair. In the end, for example, it is shown how the tragedy caused Carrie, Johnny’s mother, to drink again after years of recovering chemical dependence.
Also, in final scenes, Cadence talks to her grandfather, Harris, who claims to know what happened in the mansion. He says he is prepared to drop the public arena and, in an interview, aims to dispel rumors of a family curse – and say who will be his successor.
Cadence also has a difficult choice: staying under family protection or rejecting one’s name and living away from your relatives. She chooses the second option: steal the boat from Sinclair and leave.
