Title: Kardagar’s Premium Whey Protein Powder- A Variety Of Ways To Use!
Review: I have found several different ways to use Kardagar’s Premium Whey Protein 2.2 lb bag. I was initially looking for a new protein powder to bake protein muffins, but I’ve found so many different opportunities to use this powder to increase my daily protein consumption.Right off the bat, I love that this product is 100% whey protein with no fillers. It doesn’t have any added sugars and is free from sucralose, aspartame, and acesulfame-k. It’s 0g of fat, 1g of carbs/ total sugar, 20g of protein and 90 calories per serving (1 rounded scoop- which is included in the order). This 2.2 lb bag corresponds to approximately 43 servings of an unflavored, fragrance-free protein powder. The back of the bag also notes 18 different amino acids that are present in each 100g of product, which is an added bonus.I noticed that when I used this protein powder to make my protein muffins, instead of using my regular protein powder, the muffins came out fluffier, but extremely dry (see picture comparing muffins using previous protein powder-dense, moist and textured versus this product- fluffy and dry). I tried mixing this protein powder in water- the powder dissolved surprisingly well, but the taste wasn’t ideal. However, I’ve been mixing it in food items such as protein shakes, yogurt, and cereal, and I don’t notice any taste difference .I would not recommend using this protein powder in baking (if the recipe calls for a large amount of it) or mixing it in plain water, but so far, combining it in any other food item has been working out perfectly for me! Knowing that I can mix this into my regular food to be able to consume increased protein content, makes me feel like I’m definitely making healthier choices for a better future!

Title: Straight up protein
Review: Not the best tasting stuff on it’s own, but a quality protein usually isn’t. I will mix a scoop of this into a lesser, better tasting protein powder to increase protein content. I’ve also begun mixing this into homeade pancake mix in lieu of premade protein pancakes. Very versatile stuff!

Title: Clean unflavored protein
Review: This protein powder is great in that it doesn’t have anything extra in it. There’s no artificial flavors or sweeteners or foaming agent blends. It’s just protein (and soy lectin). It’s also 0g fat and only 1g carb, so it’s a comparatively low 90 calories per scoop. Most other powders have a bit more.The made a protein shake with this in my shaker cup. It mixed very well, and the powder dissolved into the water, leaving a smooth and slightly thicker-than-water texture. It tastes like a faint skim milk, as you would expect from just whey. It would be great it a fruit smoothie too, where young just get the natural fruit flavors.If you’re looking for something without all the additives and low calorie per scoop, this is good stuff.

Title: A Nice Change From Plant Based Protein Powders
Review: I normally use plant based protein in my morning smoothies, but thought I’d give this a try. It will take a little adjustment for my body to get used to this, I’m alternating days with plant based to try to ease it in. As others have mentioned, it is made from high quality ingredients, almost 100% whey protein, and blends well. It is essentially flavorless, so I definitely recommend blending it with something to add some flavor. Not sure that I’d switch to this as my daily driver, but a good choice to alternate proteins for a variety of sources.

Review: You can somewhat mask the whey taste by putting some fruit in there and running it through a mixer, but it feels really light and doesn’t feel like it fills me up. Usually, protein makes me feel satiated; this one somehow doesn’t – maybe it’s the zero protein aspect? I haven’t used this very long and figured out how to make it work yet (if I find some clever trick, I’ll be sure to update and share it), but this one leaves me with cravings, and munching granola afterwards, and that’s kind of the opposite to what I’d like to achieve here.

Title: Misleading packaging but good prodcut
Review: I really appreciate this as a clean whey protein. It’s also more concentrated than others, which removes cholesterol and yields a higher gram/gram of protein in a serving. I love that it is free of hormones and fillers/flavors. I think it’s fine to chug, but it also adds great flavor and texture to smoothies. That texture comes at the price of lecithin, which I don’t have a problem with. However, I do have a problem with the graphic on the back clearly showing their product to be 100% whey… but it’s 90% whey and 10% soy per the ingredients. That’s a major red flag and makes me question the integrity and professionalism of the brand. I think it’s a fair price, a good flavor and texture, but is misleading in its marketing.
