The function is available in Black mode, the application category of the application, which offers younger cars and other benefits to the user. The appeal launched has a limit of up to five stops per order. To date, the news is only available in Campinas (SP). However, it is expected to be expanded to other places.
When using the service, the user can choose intervals from one to 4h per order. In addition, the mileage includes included in each term in the app.
Anyone who needs the vehicle and the driver for 1h can place orders for a maximum of 15 km. Already requests that use 4h, can be of routes up to 60 km. The values can reach more than $ 400. To make the first request, you need to make the appointment at least 30 minutes in advance.
If time or route exceeds the limit included, an additional amount will be charged. The same goes for parking lots and tolls, which must be negotiated directly with the driver.
How to order Uber for time Black
The way to order a Uber for time is very similar to what you already do in the app. Below we take a step by step to make it even easier.
Required time: 6 minutes
- Choose the starting and destination place at Uber.
- Slide the screen down and choose the “Black Time” option. Then click on “Set start time”.
It is important to remember that you should book this option at least 30 minutes in advance.
- Select the day and time of match or, if you prefer, the day and time of arrival at the final destination. Finally, tap “advance”.
- You will be taken to the home screen again, where you should click “Book for Black Time.” In the next screen, it is recommended to leave the automatic remuneration option – so the app will find another partner if the driver cannot arrive on time.
- The last step before booking is choosing the time and distance franchise. In the simulation, we could choose between: 1h / 15 km or 2h / 30 km. Finally, tap “Request for time Black.”
Be aware of the rates charged for extra time or extra kilometer. The amount will be informed at this stage.
- If necessary, you can cancel your reservation. To do this, click on the trip and then “details.” In the next screen, slide until you find the “Cancel” option and click the button.
You can cancel your trip for free up to 1 hour before boarding or before receiving the driver’s information.
