Review: Tasty if made this way: One scoop whey protein, two tsp. cocoa powder, 1/2 cup crushed ice, 1/2 cup milk, maybe some creatine and/or some sweetener (if desired). Mix with a stick blender and it is a lot like a chocolate milkshake.

Review: Great taste! Per the ingredient list, this uses real cocoa powder and peanut flour instead of a bunch of synthetic flavorings. Peanut flour is also how I flavor my normal morning smoothies , and it’s just like throwing in a scoop of peanut butter.Pros:- Taste is spot on. It can’t not taste like chocolate peanut butter when using real cocoa powder and peanut flour.- Consistency is good relative to Whey powderCons:- minor con to some… You will need a protein shake mixer to fully mix this. I usually use a plain Tupperware to shake my go-to Gold Standard Protein and never have an issue. This leaves little bits not fully dissolved, but could be the cocoa powder. Cocoa powder by itself would do the same. Not a big deal though, I drink it with the little bits and it’s fine.

Review: I ordered this whey protein for my husband, as he uses this type of product regularly. He likes chocolate the best, but I thought chocolate peanut butter might be a nice change. The powder has a faint chocolate smell and there is a scoop inside the container. Directions show to mix one scoop with 6-10 ounces of water or your favorite beverage. He used a fork to mix it in his glass, but it mixes better if using a shaker or blender. My husband didn’t really like the taste when mixing with water, but after mixing with milk thought it tasted better. After it’s mixed it does smell like peanut butter, but not chocolate. Unfortunately, he didn’t really care for it and mentioned he didn’t like the peanut butter aftertaste. This uses cocoa powder and peanut flour and contains 20 grams of protein. I also tried it and did like the taste. I don’t typically choose this flavor for protein shakes, so it will be something I only use occasionally. I like that it’s organic, only has 2 grams of total sugar, and zero grams of added sugar. If you like clean protein shakes and peanut butter and chocolate flavor, then this is for you.

Review: It is not grass fed whey and no mention of country of origin of ingredients. The plus side is that its organic, taste is mild and easy to mix with milk. Did upset my stomach a bit, so will not be buying again. Also it’s a bit expensive.
