Iran again launched missiles against Israel at dawn on Sunday (22), after the USA attacked Iranian nuclear facilities. About 30 projectiles reached residential areas in the center of the country, in Tel Aviv and Ness Ziona, injuring about 80 Israelis, according to the Ministry of Health of Israel.
An hour later, Israel retaliated. The country’s defense forces announced that they reached Iran’s missile launchers that “they would be ready to be thrown towards Israeli territory.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araye, commenting on Saturday’s American offensive (21), said the US “crossed a large red line.”
“With this action, the United States have struck a serious blow to international peace and security,” he said, promising that Iran would defend itself “by all necessary means against US military aggression.”
The Iranian chancellor also said that US President Donald Trump betrayed Iran and his own voters.
“Although President Trump was elected with the platform of ending the costly involvement of the United States in endless wars in our part of the world, he cheated not only on Iran by abusing our commitment to diplomacy, but also deceived his own voters by submitting to the mission of a sought -of -the -sought war criminal. Araye, referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He also announced that he would travel to Russia to talk to dictator Vladimir Putin about the US entrance to the war.
Trump gave Iran
After announcing that the US attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran, Trump said the purpose of the action was to “end the number 1 sponsor nuclear capacity of the world’s terrorism” and that “uranium enrichment capabilities [do Irã] were completely obliterated. ”
Trump also gave an ultimatum to the Iranian government. “This cannot continue. There will be peace or even greater tragedy for Iran, greater than the view in the last eight days. There are other targets that can be attacked. If there is no peace, we will go after these other targets. Many of them can be destroyed in minutes,” said the American representative.
