Several US Air Force B-2 bombers have taken place in the last hours to the Pacific, while US President Donald Trump considers an attack on Iran.
The transfer of these aircraft does not necessarily imply that the Republican agent has already made a decision, as the relocation of military assets is not uncommon, said the newspaper “The New York Times”.
According to flight trackers, the B-2 departed from the Whiteman Air Base in Missouri, bound for Guam, a US territory in micronesia that houses US military facilities.
These bombers, capable of carrying powerful bombs, were apparently accompanied by flight aircraft for flying replenishment. There is no information on the reason for transporting B-2 bombers to micronesia.
Trump will return today to Washington from his golf course in Bedminster (New Jersey) to meet with his national security team and continue discussions about possible US involvement in Israeli attacks on Iran.
The White House reported that the president will make a decision in the next two weeks about the possibility of launching an offensive whose official objective would be to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from obtaining a weapon of nuclear potential.
Iran, which repeatedly denied the development of nuclear weapons on its soil, has been exchanging air attacks with Israel since June 13, when Israel’s defense forces (FDI) bombarded nuclear and military facilities in the Persian country.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the offensive while Iran negotiated with the United States an agreement on the advance of its nuclear program.
