Title: Hands-down, the best-tasting, highest quality whey on the market
Review: I leave my fair share of negative reviews, not because I made eventually negative person, but mostly because I don’t have time to review everything, and I usually only leave comments for products that have an issue. For this product, I will make an exception. I’ve been using it for many years, I need to give it to my children. That’s protein powders go, the taste for both chocolate and vanilla versions are absolutely stellar. The company has an incredible track record as well for quality control and purity. I’ve tried just about every other whey protein on the market, and I keep coming back to this one. I really don’t understand why it’s not more popular. At Whole Foods for example, they’ve always got it on the bottom shelf. I suppose this is because they don’t waste a lot of money on marketing as these other slick companies do. I am not affiliated with this company in anyway whatsoever. I just thought it would be a good idea to leave at least one positive review among several other not so positive ones.

Review: The vanilla is perfect. Not overpowering, slightly sweet and just perfect for blending with fruits and ice for a morning smoothie with a nice protein boost. The chocolate, in my opinion, is weak. It’s not very chocolatey at all, and not very sweet. I added cocoa powder to make it a bit more palatable, but I won’t buy the chocolate again. I’m accustomed to Progenex Belgian Chocolate, so that’s the comparison.The SFH Pure Vanilla, however, will be a standard purchase from here on out!

Review: I’ve tried so many different protein powders! From ON Gold Standard, Cellucor, Progenex and Premier Protein to Raw Fit and Vega One and SFH Pure is hands down the BEST! Great ingredients! Love knowing that I’m not sipping toxic chemicals for the sake of muscles and health- and the flavors are really good! Love the vanilla because its so versatile but chocolate is really good too! Not chalky AT ALL. Would love to see a peanut butter flavor- but until then I’m sticking with SFH vanilla!

Review: The Stevia sweetner is super strong and cannot be masked! Not even with adding fruit or yogurt or chocolate or anything! It’s not even an “after” taste, you taste it immediately and the sweetest had a weird chemically taste that lingers.

Title: Too expensive BUT doesn’t make me sick
Review: I’m training for cycling, 10-12 hours/week. The latest training block upped intensity and I wasn’t recovering, getting worn out day after day. At my weight I need around 120g of protein/day. I tried to obtain that much protein with real food but: that is too much meat and eggs, expensive, feels unhealthy, and too filling. Figured a supplement would be just the ticket.I bought “Only Protein” on closeout at Target, also tried Muscle Milk Pro 50. Returned both because they made me ill whenever I ate them. Made me feel like I’d just bolted two maple bars. Sick and hypoglycemic. This might be a side effect of some protein, an allergic reaction, I don’t know. Sort of spooky to be putting this stuff in my body.I bought this SFH Pure based on recommendation from a health minded friend. I very much do not like the price but it doesn’t make me sick. Comes down to $3/day. I frankly don’t care what any of this stuff tastes like, chunks, etc. I suppose this stuff isn’t horrible and it seems to mix readily. In fact last night I had a dose mixed with milk when I got off the trainer and it made me feel great, better than just milk. That is something I suppose.Supplement industry is not well regulated and I suspect many labels are just wrong. All of this stuff is pretty scary to me. I’d avoid if I didn’t have a specific need, hopefully I won’t need it after my training tapers.FWIW: The extra protein seemed to solve my recovery problem.
