Review: As someone who spends a lot of time on the road, finding a reliable phone holder is an absolute necessity. This Dashboard Universal Car Phone Holder is, without a doubt, one of the best I’ve ever tried.LITERALLY THE BEST phone holder you can buy! The design to take the phone in and out of the holder is so easy and GENIUS! I have been searching high and low for a good cell phone mount for my car. HTU 4-in-1 Cell Phone Holder for Car is PERFECT!I am getting ready for a road trip and needed something to hold my phone safely so I can use it for phone calls, navigation, and music (and be switching back and forth between all these functions). Considering the nightmare experience I had with my last car phone holder, tumbling to the floor right in the middle of giving me GPS directions, cheap plastic scratching my phone, clamps can’t hold my heavy iPhone 13 with an Otter Box up… there is always something that makes them a deal breaker. I kept putting up with my last phone holder, every time after tightening the “nuts and bolts,” they stayed tight for maybe a day before they started loosening up. So, I have to retighten them pretty often. Anyway, I’ve decided not to waste another penny on the cell phone holder. I picked this one because it was an Amazon Choice and it had almost perfect stars.After I carefully browsed its pictures and promotional videos, I decisively chose it, and the fact did not disappoint me. I made the right choice. I will explain its advantages and high quality in the following points.👉 Appearance: The appearance is the same as described in the pictures and videos, and I even think the texture of the real thing is better, if you check carefully, you will find it has a matte black design that does not easily leave fingerprints. The sides of the clip arm and the bottom of the phone holder are protected by soft silicone pads that not only hold the phone firmly but also prevent any scratches on my phone. Perfectly solved my concerns.👉 Quick Release: The dual side buttons are AMAZING! I just rest my phone on the “shelf” for the bottom and squeeze the sides together and it just stays put. The release buttons on both sides are a complete game changer and the phone clamp is steady. My phone won’t be falling out any time soon. Going down the road with all the bumps gives no sign that the device will fail.👉 Stability: I have also been using it for over a month and it holds my dashboard firmly even when driving on bumpy roads. It doesn’t wobble at all while I’m driving! The mount came in well-packaged, and simple instructions. This mount can be used on the dash, window, and vent.The major difference that I have seen and noticed is the quality, it is hands down better quality than any of the phone mounts I have purchased over the years. So, satisfied I quickly ordered another one for my other vehicle.I’ve had this for several days now. It’s had a decent amount of city and country driving, and it’s been on one road trip so far. Review: i have been using the phone holder since Dec 2024, so far everything works perfectly and i love the fact that i can easily stick it around many places in my Outlander. no damages or stickiness on my glass or dash. i have been using it a lot and rough, it is a bit loose but it doesn’t really affect my driving or usability. great product.

Review: HTU Car Phone Holder MountHaving recently made a trip where my Sat-Nav packed up, where I then had to resort to using my phone for navigation during a long traffic detour. After fumbling around with elastic bands to hold the phone in place I decided to look out for a purpose made car phone holder. I did look at quite a few phone holders which were not really suitable for our car, but when I was offered this model it appeared to be just what I was looking for.The holder arrives with various ways to mount a phone in your car. First there is a good size extendable boom that has a large suction cup on one end, this will mount to glass or to the dash. This is not suitable for a textured dash but ours has a large flat area which is suitable for a suction mount. To be honest, I prefer to use a suction mount over a stick on one as it can be removed cleanly without causing damage. Stick on pads can sometimes be impossible to remove once in place, often leaving clue residue behind, a suction cup should leave no damage.If the suction cup is not suitable then there is also an option to use the included vent clamp, this will clip into an air vent on your dashboard, a locking screw fixes it securely in place. Both mountings are easily attached to the phone holder by way of a rotating ball and locking ring.The phone holder itself is easily adjustable for most sizes of mobile phone, my phone has a larger than average screen but is easily accommodated in the holder. What I particularly like is that the holder is soft and padded so there is no risk of scratches. There is an upward facing arm on the bottom for the phone to sit on, the side arms are on a ratchet system so that they can be gently pushed in to grip the phone securely. To release press the side buttons, the gripping arms then open slowly as they are mounted on springs providing a smooth but slow opening action.Overall I am very pleased with what I received. The car phone holder is made from tough looking plastic which seems durable and likely to last. The mounting arm has plenty of adjustment so the phone can be manipulated into the ideal position then locked into place. Review: The car phone holder has the ability to be used either attached to the windscreen (or any other glass or other smooth surface) via a suction cup, or alternatively can be used by attaching to the vents in you car, whichever offers you the best placement for your needs. Not only does it offer a suction cup that has a lever to clamp down, but it’s also incredibly sticky substance on the suction cup that is very tacky, like glue. It would therefore be wise to thoroughly clean the area you wish to place the holder before removing the sucker protection film, making sure it is then completely dry before affixing in place as it really does grab hold securely. I’m not saying it will never come off once attached, if you need to reposition, but it might prove to be awkward. Once placed in the correct position, simply tighten the mount up to ensure that once your phone is positioned within the holder, it doesn’t slip.Once correctly assembled and situated, simply press the button on the left of the holder and the arms will open up allowing you to position your phone within. Then simply close the arms snuggly around your phone and it will stay in place. So far I have never once needed to reposition anything and the phone has remained exactly where it was placed. No sign of wobbling whilst driving, it’s rock steady. My air vents don’t really seem to be ideal for what they give, but I’m more than happy with the suction mount and how I’ve managed to position it.Having owned this type of mount previously, I wouldn’t be surprised if during the baking hot sun on the 3 days of Summer we get here in the UK, if the sticky suction mount falls off, they generally do. But I’ve also never had trouble fitting them back exactly where they were before, once the glass cooled down. The only reason I don’t still have my old one is that I forgot to remove it when I got rid of the car.
