Title: Alternative to Whey
Review: I decided to try this protein because I feel bloated when I drink whey protein. This is a good source of protein and I did not have the bloat after drinking it. This morning was the first time trying it. I used a piece of banana and coconut milk when making my morning shake. I was not a fan of this flavor. Pleased it is not a larger container. I bought two other flavors, hoping those taste better than this one.

Title: Great ingredients, but a big miss on the taste and mixability
Review: I’ve become a big fan of this company’s products. The quality of the ingredients can’t be beat. I normally order their Real Carbs+Protein mix, but they were out of the flavor I like. I decided to try their standard protein powder. I was expecting a similar tastes and mixability; unfortunately, I’m disappointed with this one. With the carbs+protein I was able to add a cup or more of chocolate milk along with some water and everything dissolved well enough and tasted great. This powder, for whatever reason, misses the mark. If I add anything with the water, a lot of the powder doesn’t dissolve. If I use just water, it still doesn’t dissolve that well. I end up swallowing fairly large junks of wet powder, and there’s always plenty leftover on the side of my shaker cup or caught in the mixing grate. I do really try- I use a fork or chopstick to manually stir/mix before adding the lid+grate to my shaker cup and then give a good shake for a few minutes. Other than the issues with mixing/dissolving we have the taste. It just doesn’t taste that great. It’s definitely tolerable, but honestly, I wish companies would just add real sugar to these things. The carboard taste from sucralose and all the other artificial sweeteners needs to go. This is a complaint I have with every protein powder manufacturer. Artificial sugars are bad for our gut biomes and they taste terrible. We have so much research which tells us this stuff isn’t optimal for our bodies, yet companies keep shoving it in our food and powders. I’d love an unflavored and unsweetened powder- let consumers add whatever real or fake flavoring they like.Great ingredients (minus the sucralose), doesn’t dissolve well, and a disappointing taste.
